𧞠Initial billing at purchase
When you first purchase Florbs:
Florbs automatically syncs with your Google Workspace account.
We check how many active users you have at that moment.
Youâll receive an invoice for that number of users, covering one year of serviceâeven if your contract spans multiple years (Florbs offers 1-, 2-, and 3-year contracts).
This becomes your baseline user count for that year.
đ During the year
The number of active Google Workspace users in your account can change during the year. This is how Florbs keeps things flexible and fair:
Daily Sync
Florbs checks your Google Workspace every day for new active users.
Monthly Invoicing for Additions
If any new users have been added, Florbs sends you a monthly invoice for any new users.
Prorated Charges
Charges for new users are prorated based on the number of days left in your current contract period.
đ At the end of the year
Florbs will recalculate the number of active users in your Google Workspace.
Youâll receive a new invoice covering all active users for the next year.
The same daily checks and monthly proration billing for new users continue as before.
Note: For 2- and 3-year contracts, Florbs charges annually and recalculates your active user count each year, as well. We think thatâs fair â you canât predict your user numbers in advance, and this way, you only pay for the users you actually have.
Example 1 đ
Letâs say you purchased a 1-year subscription to Florbs File Security for Google Drive on January 1st for 100 users. On February 15th, you add 5 new users. Here's what would happen:
On Jan 1: You're billed for 100 users for the full year.
On Feb 15: Florbs detects 5 new users.
End of February: You receive an invoice for those 5 users, covering Feb 15âDec 31, prorated accordingly.
On Jan 1 next year: Your contract renews and you're billed for one year for however many active users you have on that date.
Example 2 đ
You purchased a 2-year subscription to Florbs File Security for Google Drive on January 1st, 2025 for 100 users. On March 20th, you add 50 users. On December 10th, you suspend 70 users.
On January 1, 2025: You are billed for 100 users for one full year.
On March 20: Florbs detects 50 new users.
End of March: You receive an invoice for those 50 users, covering March 20âDec 31, prorated accordingly.
On December 10: Florbs detect that 70 users were suspended.
On January 1 next year: Your contract is renewed for one year. Florbs recalculates the number of active users you have at that moment (80) and bills you for that number of users for one full year.
đĄ Good to know
Youâre only billed for active users (users with active licenses in Google Workspace).
Florbs works with annual billing, also if you have a 2- or 3-year contract.
